Hi! As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Social Worker, I am a polished professional with over 20 years of experience. I have experience providing direct clinical services to children, families, couples, and adults in an array of settings. I am a skilled clinician in the field of child welfare, inpatient psychiatric mental health, outpatient crisis intervention, school-based services, community-based outpatient mental health, and residential services coupled with case management and advocacy services for clients ranging in age from 3 to 65.

Since 2013, I have worked as a school social worker. I currently provide school-based emotional and social skills training in a south suburban high school. I also have 8 years of experience as a clinician and supervisor within an alternative educational setting.

I conducted my post-doctoral training and internship through Grand Prairie Services, a local community mental health agency. I provided individual, group and family services coupled with psychological testing. Additionally, I worked as a Crisis Screening, Assessment and Support Services Therapist (Crisis SASS Therapist) and conducted on-site crisis assessments.

After graduating from Northern Illinois University, I entered the field of Child Welfare. I worked as a case manager with a private agency contracted by the Department of Children and Family Services. Through this role, I helped to reunite children with their biological families. When reunification was unattainable, I worked to secure permanent homes for children in care.

On a personal level, I bring compassion and the use of humor to the therapeutic experience. In my use of humor, I enjoy a good laugh, especially one that brings me to tears! I am committed to community service and self-care. I enjoy reading, listening to music, relaxing and spending time with my family and friends. I have an innate ability to relate to others and enjoy helping others navigate this thing called life! I often say, “I majored in feelings.? Let’s work together, to better manage yours!
